What’s my future? Exhibition and Performance, 7-8pm, Wednesday 21st September @ Pop Brixton
What is the perspective of young people growing up in our community? How do they see the future world and their place in it? Will they be makers in the new economy or victims of it? Will they create the life they want or be limited to the life they have?
In the context of economic inequality, technological transformation and a rapidly changing world, young people explore their possible futures using images, media, language and spoken word. As they deal with poverty, racism, identity, and growing up, this exhibition and performance will show us what it feels like to be 17 and to want a future.
This event is part of a series of events at Pop Brixton as part of Brixton Design week.
